Empress State Building Case Study
Built in 1961, in 2003 the entire building was refurbished and the M&E Services was installed by MJN Colston. BGP Services manufactured Curved Trench Heating for the restaurant with curved grilles. This was a requirement for the client, Land Securities, through the Architects and M&E Services Consulting Engineers. Many buildings have Facetted Trench Heating on a curve as it is much cheaper to produce in a series of straight segments. With a tight curve this can be quite noticeable and sometimes Architects and their clients choose the Curved Trench Heating for the improved aesthetics. BG can manufacture and install both Curved or Facetted Trench Heating.
We cannot show the installation photograph as it is not permitted by the client.
